We were sad to hear there wouldn't be any kind of official panel for The Hunger Games this year, BUT some light has shined upon us from above! Fans and attendees will be getting their first look at the The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 teaser at SDCC 2014!
Lionsgate is teaming up with Samsung’s new Galaxy Tab S to bring attendees the trailer at the Samsung Galaxy Experience inside the Hard Rock Hotel on Friday and Saturday! If you can’t make it to Comic-Con, you can see the trailer at participating Best Buy stores nationwide on Saturday and Sunday. The first showing of the trailer will happen on Friday, July 25 at 12PM, with “cast members from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1” on hand to introduce the trailer.
With some more digging, it seems like the cast members will probably be Natalie Dormer (Cressida), Elden Henson (Pollux), Mahershala Ali (Boggs), Evan Ross (Messalla), and Wes Chatham (Castor)! These newcomers to the series are supposed to be signing autographs for fans at the Lionsgate booth (#4045) from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on that same day, so we're thinking they'll probably be the ones to present the trailer. Thoughts?
