Growing up, he was my favorite super hero. I was a huge fan of the TV show as a kid, and remember thinking how cool it was seeing his motorcycle launch out of the back of his van.

Why do I love Captain America? He was my favorite super hero growing up...still is! I can't even count how many times I trick or treated in the "Ol' Red White and Blues"! And how's this for dedication...I even loved the cheesy made for TV movie starring Reb Brown back in "79...man that dates me!

I love Capt America b/c I grew up in a three generation military household and it was the first comic my uncle gave me. I instantly fell in love and I find his war stories and his interactions with war vets inspiring. Case being when he visit a WW2 sniper vet on his death bed and tells him that He is really Steve Rogers and he will always remember the man that saved his life on the battlefield on D - Day. the man had saved Capt life when a sniped a german soldier lining up a shot on Capt, and he didnt see him. The tribute that capt plays to armed forces and to the ideals and strengths that America symolised the way he stands up for whats rights and fight for ALL peoples fredom has always warmed my heart and been special to me.

Why do I love Captain America? Well, he punched Hitler in his stupid, poorly mustached face for one; also, he doesn't need to use guns, he just hurls a metal disc at people faces. That's what America means to me.

loved cap from playing marvel super heroes vs capcom and from reading comics. Plus dude kicks a$$ with a shield. Who does that? Awesome!

I love Captain America because reading the Avengers as a kid he always stood for what was good and right. I used to pretend I was him... great memories :)
